As I have mentioned before I am a pretty big fan of that guitar player they call Slowhand. Some people say he's God, others simply refer to him as Eric presumably. As for me I just call his name into Alexa about three times a day. Long story short he's got a new album coming out titled Happy Xmas, which as you may have guessed from the mysterious title, is a holiday album. This will be the legend's first official foray into the field.
Having yet had a chance to listen to the album, I can only assume how I will use it with the kids. I'd venture it will be made a fun game to include everyone's favorite version of a certain song on a playlist, including a talk after each rendition explaining what we all liked and didn't like about that version. I'm guessing this is my choice for "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas".
Happy Xmas tracklist:
- White Christmas
- Away In A Manger (Once In Royal David’s City)
- For Love On Christmas Day
- Everyday Will Be Like A Holiday
- Christmas Tears
- Home For The Holidays
- Jingle Bells (In Memory Of Avicii)
- Christmas In My Hometown
- It’s Christmas
- Sentimental Moments
- Lonesome Christmas
- Silent Night
- Merry Christmas Baby
- Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Sounds good to me. You can preorder the album before its October 12th release date over at Amazon.
